Memory Care
The
Willows Memory Care Unit at Mankato is an individualized memory care program, concentrating
on positive memories and enhancing those remembered experiences.
Our intent is to provide everyday experiences that give meaning and value to a resident’s past and present. This is accomplished through planned programs, homelike routines, a specially designed environment, involvement and support of family, and connections to the community.
The Willows is a full-service residence offering wonderful amenities and twenty-four hour personal care, individually tailored to meet the needs of each one of our residents. Private studio apartment homes come in a variety of floor plans. Our beautiful campus setting offers privacy and the feeling of being at home. Come experience what Keystone Communities has to offer!

The Willows Community Features
- Family’s involvement in resident’s care plan
- Personalized services address resident’s unique, individualized needs including: orientation, behavior, nutrition, continence, and nursing assistance
- Round-the-clock (24 hours/7 days per week) staff. RN/LPN here daily and provide resident care plan services
- Lovely common spaces designated to offer areas of interest with which to interact
- Three nutritious meals per day and two snacks daily are provided based on resident’s needs
- Full time activity program with diverse activities to reduce confusion
Level of Memory Care Living
- Four (4) loads of personal laundry a week (sheets and towels included, detergent provided) (Includes changing sheets and making the bed 1x a week)
- Housekeeping (Up to 45 minutes per week)
Vacuum and dust unit, clean bathroom(s), empty waste 2x a week, clean kitchen: mop floor, clean countertop and sink, and check refrigerator - Three (3) meals and two (2) snacks per day
- Reminder and/or escort to and from meals
- Specialized activities (4 or more planned activities per day), social events, outings
- Medication reminders or oral medication set up one time per week or oral medication administration up to 3x per day
- Two night well being checks
- Personal Care Service Package:
- One shower and shampoo per week
- Assist with AM cares: wash face and hands, assist with oral, visual, and hearing aid care,set up or assist with shaving, comb or brush hair, set up or assist with dressing, assist with toileting, pericare and make bed
- Assist with PM cares: wash face and hands, assist with oral care, set up or assist with undressing and assist with toileting, pericare and open bed

The memory care units are based on a bundled package of care. Additional a la carte services may be needed. All utilities are included in rent, except phone, cable and internet.
The difference in price varies upon apartment size and style. $1000.00 security deposit required.
